I just learned a very good expression from my father. He and I were discussing funny quotes that we both like and love. I told him about a quote from my favorite comedian and he laughed. I was very excited when I made my father laugh because he is very difficult to make laugh. My mother says that he does not have a good sense of humor but I think that she is wrong. My father is one of the funniest people that I’ve ever met and I hope that I grow up to have a good sense of humor like he does. He always tells the funniest jokes at the parties and all of the people think that he is one of the smartest and funniest people in the room. My mother is just jealous because my dad is so confident and hysterically funny. I do not know why she is this way.

I have been coming into the office very early every morning every day for the past 5 years. I’m beginning to get very exhausted because I do not think that my boss appreciates me and I think that I need his support and enthusiasm in order to stay enthusiastic about my job myself. If he does not give me a good pat on the back very soon I think that I will just start watching stupid comedy videos online all day every day like all my coworkers. I know that my boss hates that people waste all of their time on the Internet and I sympathize with him but I do not care because if he is not supportive of me that I will not be supportive of his goals with the company. That might sound a bit selfish to most people but I think that they will understand because it is very hard to have a bad boss.
